Maestro Mission
“Symphony Storytime” is an initiative aimed at connecting our orchestra with local libraries to provide fun musical experiences for the youngest generation of future music lovers. Children ages 3-7 enjoy a book or two, read by our music director or musicians, then participate in a music-themed activity or craft, coordinated by the Youth Librarian. Look for future events at https://www.butlerlibrary.info/children.
Other Maestro Mission events include master classes for music students at local universities, discussion groups with Maestro Doh, and additional community-building activities.
Christie Kecskemethy entertained the children at the Butler Public Library’s “Symphony Storytime: Spooky Music” on October 26th. Check our events page for upcoming events.
