The Butler County Symphony Orchestra is now accepting applicants for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for managing the human and financial resources and the day-to-day business of the Symphony to achieve the organization’s mission of providing quality symphonic and classical music to the surrounding community, acting as an educational resource to the local schools and providing a venue for community musicians to grow. In addition, the Executive Director is responsible for implementing policies set by the board of directors. To that end, the Executive Director is responsible and accountable for all aspects of the organization and implementing the policies set by the Board of Directors. Key responsibilities include representing and building the Symphony’s brand in the community; developing audiences; increasing earned and contributed revenues; expanding the donor base; working with the Music Director to ensure a high-quality artistic product; and engaging and developing key stakeholders to be advocates of the Symphony in the community.

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra is now accepting applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant. The Butler County Symphony Orchestra is looking for a full-time individual to assist the Executive Director and to serve as a representative of our institution. This position will entail 40 hours a week. The Butler County Symphony Orchestra has been in existence since 1949 providing live symphonic and classical music entertainment to its audiences, as well as, providing educational outreach to its surrounding communities.  The Administrative Assistant will serve as the initial point of contact for our patrons, musicians, vendors, and to the public with professionalism and personalized attention. You will perform general office operations and provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Music Director, Orchestral Manager, Librarian, and Board Teams as needed.
