Unwind under the summer sky and enjoy an enchanting evening of music! Join us for our Annual Free Summer Concert, “Music Under the Stars,” featuring the Butler County Symphony and guest conductor Jonathan Taylor. Bring family, friends, a lawn chair or blanket, and enjoy many of your favorite symphonic selections, including music from artists like the iconic John Williams and Duke Ellington, music such as “Lord of the Dance,” “Moon River,” “ET Adventures on Earth,” and patriotic music.

Jonathan Taylor hails from Manchester, England, where he studied composition and conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music. Upon graduation, he became the Director of Music for the Greater Manchester Police Band, a role that saw him prepare a vast number of performances for the communities of Greater Manchester, civic ceremonies, the High Judiciary, and Her Majesty the Queen.

Jonathan later became the Musical Director of the Cayman National Orchestra in Grand Cayman, British West Indies. He met his wife, Nicole, a clarinetist, singer, and actress originally from Zelienople, PA. Jonathan and Nicole have twin sons, Charlie and Hugo, and are officially relocating to Butler County in July. They look forward to becoming fully immersed in the community, particularly the vibrant music scene of the Butler area.
