Jaime Lachesky, Flute

Jaime Lachesky, a freelance musician and Butler native, began her flute studies at the age of 9. Soon after switching focus to piccolo, she studied with Michele Bonnici for several years. Jaime continued her music studies at Kent State University, where she studied under Dr. Diane McCloskey Fiocca. In 2010, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, while under the tutelage of Stacey Steele.

Jaime has maintained a private studio and has taught several successful students who have gone on to pursue careers in music education and performance. She has been a member of the Butler County Musicians Concert Band for 13 years, and is a frequent member of the pit orchestra at the New Castle Playhouse. Jaime joined the Butler County Symphony in 2019.
