Dear Patrons, Subscribers and Donors,
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra greatly values your past support and patronage and thanks you for standing by us as we move forward with some changes to our season.
Due to the continued challenges and issues arising from the COVID-19 Pandemic, the first two concerts of our 2020-2021 Concert Season have been canceled. This was a difficult decision to make but a necessary one. There were a myriad of factors that went into making this decision, including crowd size, venue, orchestra size, necessary safety measures, and many more.
- An Evening of Serenades – Sat, Nov 7 2020
- Holiday Traditions – Sat, Dec 5 2020
In place of these concerts, we are thrilled to announce that we will be professionally producing two Chamber Ensemble concerts to be shared with you absolutely free of charge. These videos will be available on our website, YouTube page, Facebook and elsewhere.
Even though we cannot all be together in the concert hall, your Butler County Symphony Orchestra is determined to continue to provide world class music for the Butler County community through these challenging times.
The only way this is possible is with your generosity and continued support. That is why we are asking for you to consider donating your tickets for the November and December concerts to be applied toward the production costs of these two virtual concerts.
“Like orchestras large and small around the country, the Butler County Symphony has continued to adapt throughout these unsettled times. Although it is not the season we imagined, we remain fully committed to bringing our music to our patrons until the moment we can safely return to the concert hall together.”Maestro Matthew Kraemer
A decision about the future of the remaining concerts in the season will be made later in 2020.
To donate your tickets, or for information regarding changing your purchase into a credit on your account please reach out to us.
