Beethoven at 250 – February 1, 2020

BIHS Auditorium February 1st, 2020 7:30 pm

Join the Butler County Symphony Orchestra as we celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday by performing his Symphony No. 5 in c minor, Op. 67. The BCSO will also be joined on stage by cellist Roman Mekinulov for a performance of “Don Quixote” by Strauss. Don’t miss out on this incredible concert!

Arthur Fiedler’s Pops – March 7, 2020

Butler Intermediate High School Auditorium March 7th, 2020 7:30 pm

The BCSO pays tribute to the legendary Boston Pops conductor who “unstuffed” orchestral music. Featuring such Fiedler light classics as the 1812 Overture, Light Calvary Overture, The Typewriter, The Syncopated Clock, and a Beatles medley, this concert will raise a smile as we hark back to the charming birth of the Pops tradition.

Mahler’s Titan – April 11, 2020

Butler Intermediate High School Auditorium April 11th, 2020 7:30 pm

Join your Butler County Symphony Orchestra as we close out the 2019-2020 Concert Season with “Mahler’s Titan.” This Concert will also feature “To Spring – An Overture” by Composer and Westminster professor Daniel Perttu. The April 11th concert will also feature the winner of the 2020 Concerto Competition – High School division.
