Dear Patrons of the BCSO:
Considerations & Protocols for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra (BCSO) continues to monitor updates from local, state and federal authorities regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Our focus is to remain informed of local impact and make sure our patrons can enjoy performances without worry. We will continue to stay up to date with the latest information available from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization and will update you accordingly.
The BCSO’s two remaining events for this season are “Mahler’s Titan” on April 11th and “Dance with Butler County Celebrities” on May 2nd. The BCSA Board of Directors will be discussing these issues as they relate to the rest of our season. A final decision will be made on Tuesday, March 17th in the evening and we will announce that on Wednesday, March 18th.
In light of the evolving situation, BCSO is looking at alternative dates to present our remaining events should the COVID-19 situation dictate concert postponement/rescheduling. We must follow the protocols of the Butler Area School District, as we rent the Butler Intermediate High School Auditorium for all of our performances and BASD must follow all State and Federal mandates.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these challenging circumstances.
