Holiday Traditions

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Christmas concert, Holiday Traditions on Saturday, December 2 at the Butler Intermediate High School, 551 Fairground Hill Road, Butler. The concert begins at 7:30 pm at the Butler Intermediate High School. The Symphony will also be holding its annual basket raffle before the concert.

The concert will feature classic and contemporary holiday music and a combined choir comprised of Butler and Seneca Valley High School students.

Local singer and actor, Michael Marra will perform The Grinch Medley with the orchestra and choir. Marra lived in New York City for 18 years and has performed both on and off Broadway. After returning to Butler to raise his family, he has participated in regional productions in Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Richland and in Zelienople at the Strand Theatre. Marra can be seen and heard in a variety of commercials and voiceovers for companies and industries in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland areas.  In addition to his acting credits, Marra is an accomplished Technical Director, Master Carpenter and Set Designer having created sets for off-Broadway, as well as private high schools and most recently The Butler Little Theatre. He is currently a faculty member at The Butler Center for the Performing Arts serving as their acting instructor.
